Summary push

Last updated 10/02/2026

Overview

note

Summary push sends the summary content of the current dashboard to specified recipients or robot channels while the dashboard is in view mode. You can configure scheduled pushes, or push once immediately when needed.

Summary push supports:

  • Scheduled push: Pushes periodically by day of the week and on the hour.
  • Send now: Manually triggers a single push task.
  • Multi-channel push: Email, WeCom robot, DingTalk robot, Feishu robot, Slack, and custom channels.
  • Push title: Supports custom titles and title placeholders.
  • Access control: If the dashboard has access controls, you can select the corresponding access control values for the push.

Entry point

  1. Go to the dashboard home page
  2. Click More in the top toolbar.
  3. Select Dashboard Info. Dashboard Info appears only when the dashboard contains a Summary page and the current user is the dashboard's owner or admin.
  4. The Summary Push panel opens on the right.

Panel layout

The summary push panel has three main sections:

  • Summary Push: Shows the current dashboard name, the scheduled push switch, and the push channels.
  • Message Configuration: Configure the push title.
  • Access Control: Shown when the dashboard has access controls. Use it to select the access control values for this push.

The actions at the bottom include:

  • Save: Saves the current push configuration.
  • Send Now: Creates a push task immediately.
  • Cancel: Closes the panel without saving your changes.

Configure scheduled pushes

  1. Turn on the Send Digest Updates switch.

  2. Select the push days:

    • You can select any one or more days from Monday to Sunday.
    • By default, you can configure pushes for the whole week.
  3. Select the push time:

    • Times are on the hour.
    • The available range is 00:00 to 23:00.
  4. The next expected push time is shown below the time selection area.

  5. Complete the push channel information.

  6. Click Save.

After you turn off Send Digest Updates, the page shows No digest update scheduled. If you click Save at this point, the configuration is saved with scheduled push disabled.

Configure push channels

At least one valid channel is required for scheduled pushes or sending now. The available channels depend on the current project's configuration.

Email

  1. Under Send through, select Email.
  2. Select recipients.
  3. You can search for existing project members.
  4. If the project supports SMTP configuration, you can also add email addresses manually.

Note:

  • If you haven't bound a personal email address, the email selection box is unavailable. Bind an email address first.
  • You can add up to 1000 recipients.
  • When you enter email addresses manually, they must be valid email addresses.

WeCom robot

  1. Select WeCom Robot.
  2. Enter the Webhook address of the WeCom robot.
  3. You can click the Configuration method button to view the configuration instructions for WeCom robots.

DingTalk robot

  1. Select DingTalk Robot.
  2. Enter the Webhook address of the DingTalk robot.
  3. You can click the Configuration method button to view the configuration instructions for DingTalk robots.

Feishu robot

  1. Select Feishu Robot.
  2. Enter the Webhook address of the Feishu robot.
  3. You can click the Configuration method button to view the configuration instructions for Feishu robots.

Add and remove channels

  • Click Push channel to add a channel that isn't in use yet.
  • You can add multiple Webhook addresses to the same channel, up to 5.
  • Click the delete button to delete a Webhook address. If the channel has only one address left, deleting it removes the whole channel.

Configure the push title

Enter a push title in Message Configuration

  • The title can be up to 80 characters
  • If you leave it blank, the default title is used
  • The title supports placeholders, which are replaced with the actual content when the push is sent
  • You can view the supported placeholder rules in the tooltip next to the title

Configure access control

When the dashboard has access controls and options are configured for them, the Access Control section appears at the bottom of the panel.

To use it:

  1. Find the name of the corresponding access control.
  2. In the drop-down list, select the values to use for this push.
  3. Multiple selections are supported.
  4. After you save, subsequent scheduled pushes use the saved access control values.

Notes:

  • If access control values have been saved before, the last saved values are shown first when you reopen the panel.
  • If no values have been saved, the options in the access control's current configuration are used by default.
  • If there are no access controls, this section isn't shown.

Send now

Send now lets you send a summary manually, once.

  1. Open the Summary Push panel
  2. Make sure the push channel information is complete
  3. If needed, adjust the push title and access control values
  4. Click Send Now
  5. After the push task is created, the page shows a push notice, and the button briefly shows Sending
  6. Toast message: Calculating now. You may check the progress in Task List.

In the Summary Push panel, make sure the push channel information is complete, and adjust the push title if needed:

Click Send Now at the bottom of the panel:

Note:

  • Sending now validates the channel information
  • If channel information is missing or a Webhook is misconfigured, no push task is created
  • Send Now doesn't replace the Save button for saving the scheduled push configuration. For a configuration that needs to stay in effect, you still need to click Save

Save the configuration

After you click Save, the current summary push configuration is saved.

The saved content includes:

  • Whether scheduled push is enabled
  • Push days and push time
  • Push channels and their configurations
  • Push title
  • Access control values

After the configuration is saved, the panel closes and a success message appears

Usage tips

  • Before you schedule pushes, use Send Now once to test whether the channels work.
  • When you configure multiple Webhooks for a robot channel, use clear channel names or keep notes externally to avoid duplicate configurations.
  • If the dashboard uses access control, confirm before saving that the access control values match the viewing scope of the intended recipients.
  • Keep information that identifies the dashboard and the date in the push title so that recipients can search past pushes.
