Dashboards
A dashboard brings together different reports on the same analysis topic, so you can see all the data on that topic on one page. You can also use notes to add analysis descriptions or business information to a dashboard to help viewers better interpret the data. Time filters and global filters make dashboards interactive: click a filter to easily focus on the data of a specific dimension. Dashboard sharing makes communication and collaboration across teams more efficient and convenient. With dashboards, you can:
- Conveniently and interactively view multiple reports on an analysis topic, such as New User Retention by Channel, the weekly retention rate of new users, and the core gameplay retention rate by channel under the retention topic.
- Add filter components to switch the perspective from which you view the reports on a dashboard. For example, add filter fields such as country and channel to the dashboard to easily filter and view data for different countries and channels.
- Collaborate with team members in AE, or push data metrics to email or work groups on a schedule. For example, share multiple dashboards within your project team through Team Space, or send a daily dashboard report to the email of specified members on a schedule
In the following documents, you'll learn how to create and manage your own dashboards in AE, how to share dashboards with team members in multiple ways, and how to view dashboard data anytime, anywhere on mobile. You can read the best practices to learn how to make the most of dashboards in a variety of data viewing scenarios.
Besides dashboards, you can also add BI dashboards to combine business data and behavioral data from different sources and tell a polished, rigorous, and complete data story. BI dashboards are a value-added feature. To try them, contact your customer success manager.
