Reported event properties

Last updated 10/03/2026

1. Feature overview

Previous approach

  • In the previous data model, reported data directly generated assets such as events and event properties, which were then used to build assets such as reports and dashboards
  • Multi-source data integration wasn't supported, and assets for analysis scenarios couldn't be built before data was reported

Super-layer model and reported data

  • The super-layer model adds an isolation layer between source data and the analysis features that use it, removing the strong dependency between the two
  • Adds the Source event properties management feature for viewing reported event property data separately

Automatic detection logic

  • When a new event is reported, the AE system automatically creates super event properties with the same names and types as its properties, automatically associates them with the reported event properties, and the connection status changes to Connected
  • If a super event property with the same name or type is already used by other data, the automatic detection logic is interrupted. Confirm the scope of impact, and then use the Create and Associate Super Event Property feature below to do it manually

3. Parameter limits

  • A single project can have up to 1,000 reported event properties created through data reporting
