In the previous data model, reported data directly generated assets such as events and event properties, which were then used to build assets such as reports and dashboards
Multi-source data integration wasn't supported, and assets for analysis scenarios couldn't be built before data was reported
Previous data model: reported data is used directly by analysis features
Super-layer model and reported data
The super-layer model adds an isolation layer between source data and the analysis features that use it, removing the strong dependency between the two
Adds the Model-Mapping Event management feature, where you can view the event data generated in Model Mapping Assets Configuration
New logic: after you set up a model-mapping configuration of the Event Table type, you can view the list of model-mapping events on this page
List management page overview
The event name, display name, and description of the model-mapping event. The Associated event name column that follows shows the name of the super event that the model-mapping event is connected to. It's empty when the event isn't connected.
source property setting: the name of the model-mapping configuration. Click it to view the configuration details.
Connection status: whether the event is connected to a super event.
Data status: the data validation status of the model-mapping configuration.
Search box: search by model-mapping event name, display name, or description.
When there's a new model-mapping configuration, the AE system automatically creates a super event with the same name and associates it with the model-mapping event, and the connection status changes to Connected
If a super event with the same name is already used by other data, the automatic detection logic is interrupted. Confirm the scope of impact, and then use the Create and Join Super Event feature below to do it manually
