Compare data performance across dates

Last updated 07/21/2026

In Events Analysis, besides comparing data across dimensions, you can also compare data performance across date phases. For example, use the Compare To feature to compare metrics such as top-up amount, number of top-up users, and top-up rate with the same metrics from the previous week, month, or year, or from the previous top-up event period, to evaluate whether user top-up performance has improved in the current phase.

Click the VS icon to add up to 4 comparison phases. By default, Previous phase is used as the time range of a comparison phase, that is, a range that extends backward automatically from the current phase. Note that the time range of the current phase affects the time range of Previous phase:

  • If the current phase is the past 7 days, the previous phase is from 14 days ago to 8 days ago
  • If the current phase is this week, the previous phase is last week
  • If the current phase is 2023-01-03~2023-01-04, the previous phase is 2023-01-01~2023-01-02

Besides Previous phase, you can also select Same period last year as the time range of a comparison phase, or select a custom time range for a comparison phase as your analysis requires. After you set all comparison phases, click Apply to run the calculation.

The chart shows the data performance of the current phase and all comparison phases at the same time, so you can quickly compare them side by side.

Besides viewing data trends in the chart, you can view detailed comparison data, including the lift, between the current phase and any comparison phase in the table. To view the data performance of the current period and all comparison phases at once, use Download full data in page format and analyze the data in more detail in a spreadsheet.
