Behavior sequence

Last updated 06/25/2026

While you view macro-level data through analysis models, you can also use the behavior sequence to observe, at the micro level, how users with specific characteristics actually behave. Combined with the macro-level analysis results, this helps you find out why users take specific actions.

You can open it from the User list page and use Switch User to view the behavior sequences of a group of users who meet specific conditions one by one. In addition to the AE user ID, you can also open the behavior sequence page of a custom entity.

For example, you can create an entity with game accounts as the source, and view a game account's tags and the behavior data of all characters under the account to get a more complete account profile.

View user properties and tags

The top left of the behavior sequence page shows the user's user properties. In addition to preset properties, you can select up to 30 custom properties or dimension table properties. By default, the display fields you configured in the User list are shown.

The bottom left shows the latest tag values of all the user's tags. You can search or filter by tag type to quickly find a specific characteristic.

View event totals

On the behavior sequence page, you can view the daily trend of the user's event count within the date range, and adjust the date range or event scope as your analysis requires. For example, you can view how many times the user triggered events in different time slots within a day, or extend the date range to aggregate events by week or month.

To compare the proportions of different events, you can display the distribution of total event counts in a pie chart. For example, you can view the proportions of the user's core behaviors and see whether they differ from the average of all users.

View behavior details

In addition to event totals, the behavior sequence page lets you view behavior details. You can quickly browse all of the user's behaviors, or click to expand an event and view its details, including the preset properties, custom properties, and dimension table properties associated with the event.

If there is an event property you pay special attention to, you can Pin it to see how it changes over time and across events without expanding the event.

You can quickly locate an event and add filters to find the target event records more precisely. Click View behavior to see which events the user triggered before and after the event, so you can understand the causes and effects.
