Configuration table management
Feature overview
When configuring game push content, you often need to pick an enum value from a Dropdown Selection. In Settings of the Engage module, content templates support uploading configuration tables, so that you can directly select values from a configuration table in the push content of operation tasks or the content of config item strategies for delivery.
How to use
Upload configuration tables
You can upload configuration tables in Settings > Configuration Table.
You can upload multiple configuration tables, such as an item code table and an equipment code table, so that a list of options is available when you select different properties. This lets you select the corresponding item or equipment directly and reduces configuration errors.
You can upload up to 10 configuration tables.
Update configuration tables
- You can update configuration tables in Configuration Table. Only Replacement Update of the entire table is supported.
- After the update, operation tasks or strategies that are in progress and use the configuration table are not affected. Operation tasks or config strategies that have not gone online yet use the new configuration table content.
Associate configuration tables
Channel Settings - Webhook channel content template
After you upload a configuration table, create or edit a channel under Webhook in Settings - Channel Settings, select the Dropdown Selection mode for Input Method in Content Template, and select the corresponding configuration table as the source. You can then use the content of this configuration table directly when you configure operation task content later.
Config Center - Webhook channel environment parameters
After you upload a configuration table, you can use it when you configure Environment Parameters in Config Center - Channel Management - Webhook in the top bar.
When you create an environment parameter of the Text type, you can use a configuration table as the source of its candidate values.
Config Center - Create template parameters
In addition, when you click Add Parameter in a template in Config Center, if the parameter type is Enum, you can also use a configuration table as the source of the enum values.
Use configuration table content
Use configuration table content in operation tasks
When a field in the content template uses a configuration table, a drop-down list appears in the push content of the operation task so that you can select values from it directly.
Use configuration table content in strategy environment conditions
After a channel environment parameter is associated with a configuration table, you can select values from the configuration table as the filter values of environment conditions when you create a config item strategy.
Use configuration table content in strategy parameter values
If the strategy template has parameters associated with a configuration table, you can select values from the configuration table when you create the strategy content.
