You can apply data insights to business scenarios through the Engage module and deliver personalized content to users at different stages, significantly improving core metrics such as activity, retention, and payment.

Onboarding stage

Scenario: In the early stage of new users' game experience, use a series of push services in the Engage module (such as app push) to send message reminders to target users. Users receive personalized content guidance even when they haven't launched the app, which encourages interaction with users and improves retention.

Goal: Improve the activity and retention of new users

Plan: Based on the product's new-player events, select target users who meet the conditions and periodically push suitable personalized content

Reactivating inactive users

Scenario: When user activity declines, use a series of push services in the Engage module (such as app push and in-game mail) to send message reminders or rewards to target users. Users receive personalized content guidance even when they haven't launched the app, which encourages interaction with users and improves activity.

Goal: Increase the activity of low-activity users

Plan: Based on the product's current highlights, select target users who meet the conditions and push suitable personalized content on a schedule or periodically

Winning back churned users

Scenario: After users churn, use a series of push services in the Engage module (such as app push and SMS) to win back valuable target users and increase returns.

Goal: Increase the return of churned users

Plan: Based on the product's current highlights and comeback events, select target users who meet the conditions and push suitable personalized content on a schedule or periodically

Routine reminders

Scenario: Daily login or reward reminders, such as logging in to claim stamina or logging in on weekends to claim rewards.

Goal: Increase user login frequency or weekend active time

Plan: Based on the product's recurring event mechanics, select target users who meet the conditions and periodically push suitable personalized content

New content launches

Scenario: When a new version launches (such as new heroes or skins, newly unlocked levels, or new resource gameplay), use a series of push services in the Engage module (such as app push, bundle pop-ups, and limited-time shops) to send message reminders and deliver resources to target users, increasing their participation in or spending on the new content.

Goal: Increase user activity and payment

Plan: Based on the product's version milestones and resource delivery schedule, select target users who meet the conditions and push suitable personalized content on a schedule or periodically

Benefits for low-power players

Scenario: For highly active players with low combat power (strong willingness to play but low willingness to pay), use a series of push services in the Engage module (such as in-game mail and good-value bundle pop-ups) to give them benefits or guide them toward good-value purchases, improving long-term retention and payment.

Goal: Improve the long-term retention and payment of low-power players

Plan: Based on the product's version milestones and resource delivery schedule, select target users who meet the conditions and push suitable personalized content on a schedule or periodically

Targeted surveys

Scenario: To support qualitative product analysis, send targeted surveys to different target users at different stages as needed to collect feedback on the product from specific groups.

Goal: Understand specific groups' feedback on the product to inform future optimization and iteration

Plan: Based on actual needs, select target users who meet the conditions and push suitable surveys on a schedule

Use cases of trigger values

V4.4 adds the ability to carry trigger values from triggered tasks into push content, enabling more refined operation strategies.

Use cases include:

  • When a player fails a level several times in a row, carry the level ID and dynamically adjust the difficulty of that level
  • In games, push discount coupons for the item types players click in the shop (for example, if a player prefers item types such as skins, heroes, pets, or weapons, push discount coupons for that item type, such as skin coupons or weapon coupons)
  • Count the total amount of a resource a player has consumed, and dynamically deliver resource bundle content based on that amount
  • In live streaming products, when a streamer a player follows goes live, carry the streamer's ID and build the final profile page URL from it in the push content, so the player can go directly to the streamer's page
