Generate a tracking plan with AI
Fill in basic information
When a project doesn't have a tracking plan yet, the AI Generate button appears in the empty state of the tracking plan page (projects that already have a tracking plan don't show this entry). After you click AI Generate, first select whether your project's industry is game or non-game, and enter business-related information.
If you already have relevant content, paste it directly, or generate it by chatting with an Agent that knows the relevant information. You can also generate it from a Feishu, DingTalk, or WeCom knowledge base
Taking Feishu as an example, you can paste the following into the input box of Feishu Knowledge Q&A
First, retrieve and include the information you have stored about [Project Name] from all sources you are allowed to disclose, including but not limited to: product type, industry, core business modules, and any other stored data, memories, or notes about the project. Do not filter or exclude anything. Then organize all of this information into the following categories. If some information doesn't fit these categories, create new categories. If a category has no information, skip it.
1. Basic project information
- Project name
- Product type (App / Web / mini program, etc.)
- Industry (game / non-game)
2. Core business modules
- Main functional modules (for example: home page, store, social, payment)
3. Key user behaviors
- Core user path (for example: register → browse → place order → pay)
- Key conversion paths (such as the key steps from visit to payment)
- Important events (such as login, registration, payment, sharing, and clicks)
4. Current data and tracking status (if any)
- Existing tracking events
- Whether there are tracking specifications or naming rules
5. Business characteristics
- Key business models of this product (such as subscriptions, ad monetization, level-based progression, or e-commerce transactions)
- Whether there is special logic (such as a multi-role system, virtual currency, or membership tiers)
Present each section as a bulleted list of up to 10 items. Include only known information; if there is no relevant information, skip that section (do not write "not specified" or similar). Be as detailed as possible. Output only these categories and their content, without any other explanation, introduction, or conclusion, and do not suggest further tasks.
For better results, select Deep Research and Web Search, and limit the scope of this query to the relevant knowledge bases
After you get the content, paste it into the input box on the page
Add business scenarios
After you provide the basic information, the Agent turns it into a structured business information form. You can fill in and edit the form directly, or ask follow-up questions in the dialog box, and the LLM automatically adds more content
You can also select the current data acquisition type and the preset events you need
After you click Generate data tracking plan, the Agent automatically starts generating the plan. When it's done, you receive a message notification that you can click to view
Based on the generated tracking plan, you can continue to add or edit content, or delete content that doesn't meet your needs.
Download SDK samples
If the current project already has a tracking plan, you can click Get data tracking example and select the data acquisition type and language
After you click it, the system automatically generates the corresponding files for your reference based on the language you selected and the tracking plan
