Projects

Last updated 10/02/2026

On the Projects page, you can view and edit the project's basic information, picture, access parameters, and metadata overview, and view the project's usage data.

You can also configure various data access settings on this page.

Set the project picture

You can upload an image as the project picture. If you don't upload one, the first character of the project name is used as the picture. You can customize the background color of the project picture to make it easier to distinguish.

Historical data import

When you need to import a large amount of historical data, you can turn on the historical data import option. This switches event data older than 10 days from real-time import to batch import every 3 hours, which greatly improves import efficiency. After you turn on this option, historical data import has a 3-hour delay.

SDK configuration

By default, the client SDK reports data every 30 seconds or when more than 30 records are cached locally. You can edit the SDK configuration to adjust the client data reporting strategy.

Data processing rules

You can set data processing rules based on the tracking plan to control data quality at the source.

Data receiving URL

The public network URL is used for client data reporting and for server-side data access in a public network environment. The private network URL is used for data access and testing in an intranet environment. To learn how to manage global data receiving URLs, see the data receiving URL management page.

IP whitelist

You can set an IP whitelist for server-side data access to limit which IPs can report data through the server side. By default, all IPs can report data through the server-side data receiving API.

Chart color scheme

You can change the color scheme of all visualization reports in the current project. Five color schemes are available to suit different preferences: Classical, Soft, Contrast, Steady, and TE Classic.

After you click Apply, the change takes effect on all data display pages, such as dashboards, reports, cohorts, and tags. For example, after you select Soft, reports on a dashboard use the color scheme shown below.
