Social media content
Overview
Social Media Content lets you find and view the posts, videos, and related comments collected in the current space. You can first locate content with filters and search, then open the details page to view the original text, engagement, and analysis results.
This article describes how to work with social media content in Content Center. For how to use live streams and chat, see their respective documents.
Page layout
- Content list page: Combine conditions such as time, platform, and content type to filter posts and videos, and use search and sorting to find the content you care about.
- Content details page: View a single piece of content and its comments, and use Content Details, Engagement, and Comment Analysis to understand the content's characteristics and user feedback. What you can see depends on your current permissions and the available data.
Content list page
In Social Media Content, first set the query scope, then browse the content cards. To learn more about a piece of content, click its card to open the details page.
At the top, you can filter by time, platform, and content type, select Official Content Only, or open more filters to set sentiment, keyword, topic, and custom tag conditions.
Cards show the content title or summary, author, publish time, and other information; the available engagement metrics depend on the data collected from each platform.
Filter content
The list refreshes after you adjust the conditions at the top. Conditions in the more filters panel take effect only after you click Confirm; you can also use Reset to clear the conditions in that panel.
-
Time: When you first open the page and there are no saved query conditions, the last 7 days are queried by default; adjust the date range as needed.
-
Platform: Select one or more platforms connected to the current space.
-
Official Content Only: When selected, only content identified as published by official accounts is shown.
-
Sentiment: In more filters, select Contains or Range.
- -1.0~-0.6: Negative sentiment
- -0.59~0.59: Neutral sentiment
- 0.6~1.0: Positive sentiment
- Contains lets you select multiple sentiment categories; for Range, enter start and end values between -1 and 1.
-
Content type: Select posts, videos, or both.
-
Other filters:
- Keyword: Select or search for keywords to find related content.
- Topic: Select one or more topics to view associated content.
- Custom tag: Add tag conditions, and set the operator and filter values according to the tag type. Tags are configured in the separate tag feature.
Search and sort
Search and sorting apply to the current filter scope and can be used together. To fetch the current results again, click the refresh button of the list.
-
Sort
- Time: Sorted by publish time from newest to oldest by default; you can switch to oldest to newest.
- Popularity: Sorted by popularity from high to low.
- Comment count: Sorted by comment count from high to low.
-
Search: Select a search method, enter your query, and press Enter. Fuzzy search finds content related to the title, body, or author.
- Exact search: Switch to Exact Search and enter your query; for how to write combined conditions, see the hint next to the input box.
- Username: Find content by publisher name.
Content details page
The details page shows a single post or video and its related comments. On the right, you can switch between content details and engagement; with the required permission, you can also view comment analysis.
Posts and videos are viewed the same way. The page shows collected information such as the title, body, images or video cover, author, and publish time, with comments and replies below.
Comments and replies show the publisher, publish time, and content. You can filter comments by time, sentiment, and custom tags, and adjust the sort order and whether sentiment and tags are displayed.
Content details
View the content's sentiment, keywords, custom tags, and associated topics; if there are risk control recognition results, they are shown as well. This area shows the recognition results for a single piece of content and does not replace the separate tag, keyword, or trending topic management features.
Engagement
View the collected engagement metrics of the current content, such as views, likes, comments, and shares, along with the sync time. Supported metrics may differ by platform. Click View Trends to select a metric and view its available history. The sync time reflects when the data was last updated and does not mean the data is in real-time sync with the source platform.
Comment analysis
With the required permission, you can view the comment trend, comment sentiment distribution, and tag distribution by time range, and drill down from the charts to the corresponding comments to check user feedback against the original text.
Correct content details
With content edit permission, you can modify the sentiment value or add and remove keywords in Content Details; save when you are done, or cancel the changes. What you correct here is the analysis result in the platform; the original post or video on the source platform is not modified.
- Sentiment classification criteria
- Keywords
- If a keyword is incorrectly recognized, remove it; if one is missing, add it.
