Workbench

Last updated 09/07/2026

Overview

The Workbench is the home page of the Omni Insights Platform, where you can view the content overview and key analysis results of the current space in one place. Use the system preset reports to understand content volume, sentiment distribution, and keyword changes, or add reports saved in Visual Analysis to the Workbench to keep tracking the metrics your business cares about.

The report combination and layout of the Workbench are saved per space, so your team can run daily analysis around the data everyone follows.

View the workbench

After you open the Workbench, use the time picker in the upper-right corner of the page to adjust the analysis range for the current view. Analysis reports on the Workbench query data again for the selected time, keeping the metrics, dimensions, and filter settings of the original reports.

System preset reports show content volume metrics such as topic count and comment count, as well as sentiment distribution, trends, and keyword performance. Some reports let you switch the channel, sentiment, or display mode so you can adjust them to what you need to see.

Configure the workbench

Members with edit permission on the Workbench can click Edit Dashboard in the upper-right corner of the page to adjust the report combination and layout of the current space.

Adjust layout

  • Drag report cards to change the display order.
  • Select a card size to adjust how much space a report takes up. The available sizes vary by report type.
  • Remove reports you no longer need to display. Removing a report only affects the Workbench display. It doesn't delete the original report in Visual Analysis, and you can add it again later.

When you finish, click Save to apply the changes, or click Cancel to discard this edit. The saved configuration is used by the members of the space.

Add reports

In edit mode, click Add Charts to search by report name and choose from the following two types of reports:

  • System preset reports: Common overview, trend, sentiment, and keyword reports provided by the platform, which you can add directly.
  • Analysis reports: Custom reports created and saved in Visual Analysis, which you can use to keep tracking engagement or other metrics your business cares about.

Reports already on the Workbench are marked Added. After adding a report, you can continue to adjust its position and size, and it is saved together with the Workbench configuration.

To create a report or change its metrics, dimensions, or filters, go to Visual analysis.

When you find data you want to look into further, continue the analysis through the view entry points that reports provide:

  • Click Topic Count to go to the Content Center and view the content within the selected time range.
  • Hover over an analysis report card and click the view icon next to the title to open the corresponding Visual Analysis page.

Some preset charts also let you click the data to open related content. The available entry points and the filters carried over vary by report.
