A workspace is the basic unit for managing assets in the DataOps Platform. Each workspace has its own independent assets, members, and permissions.
DataOps Platform workspaces can be created in the System Settings module. For details, see DataOps space management.
To balance data permission security and ease of use, we recommend dividing workspaces according to the following guidelines:
By organizational structure: For example, set up separate workspaces for different project teams or departments, so that data is independent between teams and shared within each team
By business: Set up separate workspaces for different business scenarios, such as operations, ad delivery, and community sentiment, so that data is shared within the same business domain
After a workspace is created, users with the Root, Data Warehouse Admin, or the space's Space Admin role permissions can click Workspace Settings in the gear menu in the upper-right corner of the DataOps Platform to open the Workspace Settings module and configure and manage the space.
