Last updated 10/02/2026

Overview

This section describes the complete process of releasing a Flow and how to use the release list page.

Release list page

On the Workflow Management page, click the tab at the top to switch to the release list and view all release records. Use the filter area in the upper-left corner to view release records that include a specific Flow, or quickly filter release records with Only show what I submitted.

The columns of the release list are as follows:

Column nameDescription
Release IDThe unique ID of the release, unique globally. Click it to open the release record detail page
Release DescUser-defined description of the release
CreatorThe creator of the release
Submitted TimeThe time the release was submitted
Scheduling StatusThe release status, including Pending Releasing, Releasing, Succeeded, Partially succeeded, and Failed. Filterable

Click a release ID to open the release record detail page. On the detail page, you can switch between the Flows in the release on the left, and the right side shows the change records of the selected Flow. In later versions, you'll be able to view the specific changes.

Add a release

To release a Flow, start a new release in any of the following ways:

  1. In the Flow list on the Workflow Management page, click Release at the end of the row of the Flow you want to release, or release multiple Flows with a batch operation
  1. In Dev Mode of the Flow detail page, click Release in the upper-right corner of the tab
  1. On the release list page of the Workflow Management page, click + Release in the upper-right corner

After the new release process starts, first decide which Flows you want to release. The list on the left shows all Flows that can be released, including Flows that haven't been released and released Flows with changes. Click + Add on the right of a Flow's row, or click Add All, to add Flows to the release list.

Next, select the release items in the Flows to be released. Only the selected release items are released. Note that some release items are always selected, such as task node deletions. You can also click View Diff after a release item to view its specific changes. The target table in the release items is the task node's Target Table. If the Target Table has unreleased changes, they can be released together with the Flow. To remove a Flow from the release list, click the delete button after the Flow card. After you finish selecting release items, click Next step to continue.

Next comes release verification. The system parses the Flows to be released and their release items, and reports any specific exceptions. Note that if some release items in a Flow can be released while others have exceptions, only the items that pass verification are actually released. However, if none of a Flow's release items pass verification, the whole Flow is excluded from this release; and if no Flow in the release passes verification, the release can't continue. You can also click a release item on this page to view its detailed changes. After you confirm the verification results, click Next step to continue.

Finally, do a final check before the release and set the release description. Note that each Flow card shows when this release takes effect. Most releases take effect from the next instance, that is, Effective after instance termination, but some releases can take effect while a Flow instance is running, so pay attention to this. After you confirm all the information, click Submit to complete the Flow release.

In the current version, Flow releases aren't connected to an approval process, so the Flow release proceeds as soon as you click Submit. You can view the release status on the release tab of the Flow detail page. When the release succeeds, you also receive the message card below. Click the release ID in the card to view the release details.
